Each holiday season, Heckart/Gillespie Funeral Home hosts a very special ceremony in memory of those who passed away over the year. It is a meaningful, comforting time of reflection in an especially difficult time of year. To make the evening even more special, we light our area renown "Tree of Memories."
In 2003, we began a new program called "Sharing With Your Church or Charity because We Care, We Share, We Love." At the Wreath of Remembrance dedication, the Heckart Family Foundation presents a monetary contribution to each family's church or favorite local charity in memory of their loved one. In 2003, we had the honor of sharing over $33,000 with 62 local churches and charities.
